Simdog was founded and designed by photographer turned graphic artist Amanda Simonian, shortly after her brother passed away in 2002. Her initial concept of building the brand was and still is, to contribute to a scholarship foundation, in her brothers' memory. All sales of clothing benefit the Jeffrey Simonian Memorial Scholarship Foundation at Clovis High School (Clovis, CA), Jeffrey's Alma mater. Through much effort, Amanda has guaranteed that her brother's legacy will live on through this unique line of clothing bearing his nickname, Simdog.
